Enabling Postmaster Alerts

This feature is a user preference, not a server preference. It can be enabled for users who want to receive alerts via Direct Message, and can be activated anywhere you have access to Charlemagne's slash commands.

Type /user in a message line in Discord or in a Direct Message with Charlemagne, then select /user settings:

On the next screen, you'll see two choices - option & value. Currently, you can only choose one option - Postmaster Alerts:

Select Postmaster Alerts and Charlemagne will then require a value input.

Select on:

Send the command and Charlemagne will return a message confirming your settings:

To disable Postmaster alerts, walk through the same steps except choose off for the value.

How Postmaster Alerts Work

Charlemagne will send your first alert via Direct Message, or DM when you reach 11/21 items at the Postmaster. She will not continuously ping you, but will alert you at set intervals - currently 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, and 21 items.

Charlemagne will even attempt to point out any hidden gems (high-stat rolls, exotics, etc) that you might be in danger of losing.

In order to keep this setting enabled, you will have to register with Charlemagne every 3 months to re-authorize. If you're not sure how long it's been, run through these steps again and Charlemagne will let you know.
